Rowing Dock

House architecture design in Los Angeles, CA

This project was in support several local high schools and their rowing programs. Situated along the Passaic River, the job required the design and installation of a massive floating dock system, capable of supporting multiple rowing shells and frequent team use. To secure the dock system, we drove large steel piles deep into the riverbed, providing the stability needed for a high-traffic, high-impact application. In addition to dock installation, the project included multiple shoreline enhancements: custom-fabricated ADA-compliant ramps, demolition of existing structures, full-site grading and paving, and the construction of a riverfront gazebo. The scale and complexity of the work demanded careful planning and months of coordination, resulting in a finished facility ready to serve athletes for years to come.

What we did

We installed custom-built aluminum ramps for smooth and durable access from the shore to the docks. Beyond the waterline, we poured new pavement, constructed a large gazebo for teams and spectators, and shaped the surrounding area into a functional and visually clean riverfront site. From pile driving to final landscaping, this job showcased our full range of capabilities — blending marine construction, hardscape, and civil infrastructure into one complete solution.
